The VA, however, has no mechanism for setting up these organic farm businesses, that's where the Green Hope Veterans come in.

I'm on Planning Team 2, our assignment is to reverse the childhood obesity & diabetes epidemic, so prevalent on the west side of Fresno, California.
I've nominated myself to serve on the "Steering Committee'' and plan to attack and resolve this problem through nutrition. All yards, sidewalks, street medians, empty lots and buildings will be utilized to grow: *Leafy Green Vegetables *Fruits trees, apples, pomegranates, peaches, plums, cherrys, nectarines etc *Nut trees, walnuts, almonds, pecans etc *Berry bushes highest in phytonutrients, blackberry, blueberrys, raspberrys, strawberrys, grapes etc.

Build, install, repair and maintain Electrical Generators that burn clean Natural Gas, the cleanest, most abundant, cheap fuel available, Solar and Wind to clean the air of the 2nd most polluted air basin in the U.S.
Green Home and Business Green Construction techniques will be taught and instituted in the westside community and schools.
We can prepare for December 21, 2012 by changing the way we build our living & working structures. By building structures that go many levels below & above ground, we can house & feed many times the number of people on earth now.
